We are truly gifted, the day we are born, with a finite duration of time. How you use your present determines your epiphany or tragic mystery. I always lived my life running on empty, when I was diagnosed with heart failure it shocked this professor of lifesaving, Mr. CPR, the medic who crawled into burning builings because others needed to be rescued. To be the ONE needing to be saved that story did not sit well with me. And I waited 12 LONG YEARS on that TX LIST. I died three times on my journey to now. But I now KNOW the heart I was gifted was the ONE I learned I simply had to wait for. Cody Joseph Stebel was 20 years young when his auto accident ripped his being from his amazing family’s love and within hours of his receiving his first driver’s license became an organ donor.
